Exabl ("we", "our", "us") operates the Exabl mobile application (the "App"),
an educational app for CET / competitive-exam preparation. This Privacy Policy
explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & identity information: your name and
phone number (which you enter on the sign-in screen), used
to create and secure your account.
- User content: test attempts, answers, progress,
performance data, and any files or images you choose to upload within the App.
- Photos & files: if you use features that let you pick
an image or document, we access the specific files you select (we do not scan
your whole device).
- Technical data: basic device and network information needed
for the App to function and to keep your account secure.
We do not collect financial or payment information. The App does
not process payments.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To provide core features: practice tests, progress tracking, and learning content.
- To store your data so it is available across sessions.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the App.
3. How Your Data Is Stored & Shared
- Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore
and Firebase Storage). Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- To verify your account, your phone number is sent to our SMS
one-time-password (OTP) provider, 2Factor (2factor.in), solely to
deliver the verification SMS.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We share data only with the service providers that power the App —
Google Firebase (data storage) and 2Factor
(OTP SMS) — strictly to operate the service, and where required by law.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of
your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below; we will
process the request within a reasonable period.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for students preparing for competitive exams. If you are
below the age of digital consent in your country, please use the App with the
involvement of a parent or guardian.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (including encryption in transit) to protect
your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we
work to protect your data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on
this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
